Systems Overview
The Cessna Citation CJ1 is powered by two Williams-Rolls FJ-44-1A engines, each producing 1,900 lb of static thrust at sea level. Total usable fuel in each wing tank is 235 U.S. gallons. Combined usable fuel is 3,220 lb. Electrical power is supplied by two engine-driven generators rated at 30 VDC and 300 amps (regulated to 29 V). Ice and rain protection includes bleed air anti-icing and pneumatic deicing (horizontal stabilizer). Cabin pressurization maintains 8.3 psid with automatic cabin altitude scheduling, which results in an 8,000-foot cabin altitude when cruising at 41,000 ft. The hydraulic system is a 1,500 psi open center system that powers the landing gear, flaps, speedbrakes and thrust attenuators.
