Systems Overview
The Cessna Citation II is powered by two Pratt & Whitney JT15D-4 engines, each producing 2,500 lb of static thrust at sea level.
Total usable fuel in each wing tank is 366 U.S. gallons. Combined usable fuel is 5,008 lb. Electrical power is provided by two engine-driven generators rated at 30 VDC and 400 amps (regulated to 28.5 V). Ice and rain protection includes bleed air anti-icing and pneumatic deicing (outboard wings and stabilizers). Cabin pressurization maintains 8.8 psid, which results in a 8,000-foot cabin altitude when cruising at 43,000 ft. The hydraulic system is a 1,500 psi open center system that powers the landing gear, speedbrakes and optional thrust reversers.
