The King Air 200/B200 is powered by two Pratt & Whitney PT6A turboprops, each producing 850 shp. Fuel capacity in each wing tank is 193 gallons (386 gallons total). The auxiliary fuel tank holds 158 gallons total. Electrical power is supplied by two engine-driven generators rated at 30 VDC and 250 amps (regulated to 28.25 V). Ice and rain protection includes pneumatic boots, electric heating elements and engine exhaust. Cabin pressurization maintains 6.5 psid, which results in a 8,600-foot cabin altitude when cruising at 31,000 ft. The landing gear system is powered using either an electric motor or hydraulic pressure.
